AOL Chat

AOL chat can be accessed through www.aol.com. In order to use the chat services on AOL, you must first be a user of AOL's Instant Messenger feature or use the AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) software. You must use your AOL e-mail user name and password to access these services.

AOL chat has a variety of chat rooms. These include rooms dedicated to celebrity gossip, international topics, pets, computing, singles and rooms for specific cities.

Etiquette for AOL chat rooms includes not using abusive language, not advocating violence and not inciting illegal activity. AOL chat rooms are not to be used by those under the age of 13.
